Rosie's Virtual Notebook- Homework Week 1


Assignment One Part 1 - Create a special web page to use as a "Virtual Notebook" for HTML 1 Class, use it for your lessons and other class related notes.
Assignment One Part 2 - Peform the four basic tabs to your page to give it style. Begin developing your idea for your personal web page. Do you have a topic? How do you want it to look? Record your beginning ideas in your HTML notebook. Look at web pages that others have made. Find and record the URL of one page which you like a lot in your notebook. Indicate WHY you like the page.

My Home and what interests surround the area I live in. Use a digitial camera to take photos of interest.

Interests might include the following - You Yangs - Shell Oil Refinery - Eastern Beach - Ford Motor Company - Geelong Grammar School - Yatching Club - View of the Bay from the top of the hill (make it a panoramic view)

Web Pages of Interest & What I liked about the Site

As you can see by the above work, it is all pretty basic. I have learn't how to make a template in which to work from, which sits nicely in my folder ready for inspiration to begin. I changed the colour of the background after exploring the many reference sites that are available for choosing the colour and codes to go with them. I thought painting the house was bad enough. I did not want to go through that experience again but at least this time, it was only myself I had to argue with. This week is really about setting your page up with Headings, Centering them, Bold & Italic the text, adding breaks and making paragraphs. All quite easy to do. It is just learning the how to open & close correctly and making sure it all goes in the correct order. Yep.. I think this homework is OK
